We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This role focuses on selling Microsoft Business Applications and cloud-based solutions, including Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Case Management applications.

The ideal candidate has experience selling cloud and CRM solutions, is highly motivated to build pipeline, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work closely with leadership, technical architects, and marketing teams to identify opportunities and close new business. The role also includes leveraging Avid Systems’ existing contract vehicles, including NASPO ValuePoint and GSA schedules to accelerate sales into government and public sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Pipeline Growth – Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions across targeted industries and government organizations.
  • Contract Vehicle Sales – Leverage Avid Systems’ existing NASPO ValuePoint and GSA contract vehicles to drive new opportunities and simplify procurement for public sector clients.
  • Client Engagement – Develop relationships with prospective clients, understand their operational challenges, and position Microsoft cloud and CRM solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Solution Selling – Work with solution architects and technical consultants to present and demonstrate Microsoft Business Applications, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Sales Lifecycle Management – Manage opportunities from initial outreach through proposal development, contract execution, and deal closure.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams – Partner with Microsoft solution specialists and delivery teams to design solutions that meet client needs and support successful implementations.
  • Market Awareness – Stay current on Microsoft Business Applications, Power Platform innovations, and cloud solution trends to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management – Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and activity reporting within the company CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience – Minimum of 3 years of experience selling technology solutions, with a focus on cloud platforms, CRM systems, or enterprise business applications.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge – Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or other SaaS solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Sales Mindset – Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and driven to build pipeline and close deals.
  • Public Sector Experience (Preferred) – Experience selling through GSA schedules, NASPO contracts, or other government procurement vehicles is a strong plus.
  • Communication Skills – Strong ability to engage executives, present solutions, and build trusted client relationships.
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field preferred.
